Congratulations to Casey Frantz, our July 2025 Student of the Month! Casey has been attending classes four times per week for just over two months. She has lost 20 pounds, but gained so much more in the way of confidence, balance and strength. We look forward to watching Casey continue to advance through our traditional Tang Soo Do program. Tang Soo, Ma'am!!
Congratulations to Travis Frantz, our June 2025 Chesaning Student of the Month! This little guy came into our program lacking any self control, his attention was difficult to capture, and communication was non existent. Through our first month we are now communicating well with his tablet, he is bowing on and off the mats, and participating to a limited capacity with his family in class. Travis is going to be "one to watch" as he grows as a martial artist! We are so proud of him and his family, and honored they have trusted us with their training. Tang Soo, Sir!
Congratulations to Matt Krantz, our June 2025 MAFIA Student of the Month! Matt is a nationally known financial journalist and bestselling author with USA TODAY and Investor’s Business Daily. For the past six years Matt has faced a much different challenge: Parkinson’s disease.
One way he is fighting back is through the MAFIA Program at Motorvation Academy of Martial Arts. As he trains, Matt demonstrates that a new positive direction is always possible, even in the face of Parkinson’s.
Congratulations, Matt.
You are an inspiration, Sir!
Tang Soo!
Congratulations to Julie, our June 2025 Ugandan Student of the Month. Julie is the most committed student in all of our programs!
She shows up when others don't, and puts in the training time others won't. We train every Saturday and Sunday morning, and by Monday she has already sent me videos with questions, and thanked me a million times for teaching her.
She is not the greatest martial artist in our ranks yet, but she is one of the most diligent. And for this, she is such an honor to serve. Her diligence will pay off in skill acquisition over time.
As she prepares to head off to her first year of college our time together will become limited, but I know she will continue to practice her traditional Tang Soo Do for life, spreading it to those in need within Uganda, and beyond.
Congratulation, Julie, and awesome job.
Tang Soo, Ma'am!
